hey there my section peeps!

First of all, i wanna wish u guys all the best for SYF..
JIAYOU! i have CONFIDENCE in u guys!

BUT! don't take things for granted.. we still have to practise hard!
we're left with ONLY 4 MORE PRACTICES!!!
i don't wanna mention names ok..
for those whom are still struggling in their parts, PLEASE..practice harder..
i bet u, u're effort won't go to waste..

as i'm one of the QM and also the senior in the section..
i wanna point out something..
i was really pissed off just now!
PLEASE people..TAKE CARE OF UR OWN INSTRUMENT!
be it ur mouthpiece or whatever!

DON'T TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED! u think our sch is rich enough to buy SELMER mouthpiece for us???
please reflect.. u should know whom i'm refering to..
SYF's coming! how could u possibly be careless in handling ur own instrument?!!!

I'm just too dissapointed in u.. how can u be SO CARELESS!
i'm SPEECHLESS! after ur instrument..NOW it's ur mouthpiece!
what else NEXT?

to my dearest juniors,

i guess its about that time of the year where i make a speech huh. well... before i start with anything, i am gonna warn you guys that this speech is gonna be a short one. or shall i say "speech". so...
lemme start with myself 1st.
i'm greatly honoured to see how much you guys have improve. being there for you guys seems effortless for me. there's nothing else in this world that could put a smile on my face other than to see u guys. i'm serious. though i may not be of any help as weeks gone by, i would try my best to come down and help out as much as i can with sectionals. you're not the only section tat i'm teaching rmb? i have my second section.. lol. aniways... yup.. u guys are my priority like how a parent wuld treat their own children. to tell u the truth, it feels like i'm at home whenever i'm with you guys. we joke. we get serious. we share. i just feel comfortable. nothing else can beat that feeling. well.. i guess enough about that.
gonna give a tribute to each one of u saxy peeps.

lets start with IDHAM!
yo bro. sorry if i have been taking ur role as a SL even though i've graduated from this band for almost two years now. i guess i din giv u a chance huh. niways, we're cool with it arent we? so... idham... great to see u improve. from the times where i scold u for no utter reason when u r in sec1 to the times where i would leave u alone knowing that u can do it on ur own w/o me worrying. :)

next up.. AISAH!
well aisah.. wadever i've sed to idham goes to u to. u'r the QM.. wanna know sth? i get irritated when during sectionals [when i'm teaching] someone would just knock on the door and say..
"can i see the QM?"
"can i have reeds?"
lol.. that's ur job is'nt it? hmm...

next up AIN!
again, wadever i've sed to idham n aisah goes to u as well. i know u'r the type who never give up when it comes to playing. u persevere n at the end of it.. fu'yoh! look at Funiculi Funicula for example.. rmb the last time when u sed u can never play this at actual tempo?
well......... look at u now.. u play it as if it was your thing. its like u'r born to play that part. see.. i'm happy n proud of u.

hey.. i think wad i'm going to write here is wad i wrote for ur testi on frester. so....
for other ppl's viewing "pleasure"..
aaron is by far the best junior i had [no offence to the others]. i still rmb when he started playing the bari sax. he was forced by me to play bari sax. muahaha! niways, he was the easiest for me to teach n also the fastest to improve. well bro.. look at u now.. how much i'm proud of u jus cant be put into words. future SL? ahaha!

next.. KIM!
hey kim! i know you sometimes hate it when i try to "pick" on u.. well kim, i'm not picking on u.. its jus that if i dont scold, how are u gonna improve? u think i din scold ur seniors b4? wahaha! they everytime get scolded by me. so... hope that we dont hold any hard feelings. hafta say u improved. jus tat u must PUSH ur sound out. when ain graduates, u cannot be timid animore.. MUST PUSH!! PUSH! PUSH! PUSH! wahaha!

next.. YUBING!
hey you! ASST BM huh? well i mus say that the saxophone section have been passing down the majors' post since the graduating batch of 2005 [my batch of course]... from me being the BandMajor n Shira being the DrumMajor.. to De'hong the Asst BandMajor n now Yubing, the Asst BandMajor.. woohoo! lets carry on that tradition.. hmm.. who's next? fadhli the BandMajor?
hey! why not man.. aniway yubing.. apart from having responsibility as an Asst Band Major, must also do ur part being a saxophonist in BN.. practice hard.. try to catch up with the standard ur sec4s are at now. :)

i dunno whether u'r gonna read this. but if u'r reading this.. must learn when to joke n when not to joke yeah? hmm.. so far, since u'r the only sec2 now [i dunno what happened to Ridhwan], mus catch up with the standard ur sec3s are at now. when it comes to proper sectionals, have it seriously. i know u may be in the midst of prioritizing frens till u may treat sectionals as one of those "not-serious" session.. well lil' bro, we'll be keeping an eye on u..

next are to my sec1s [atiqah (ain's twin) & afiQ]
hey there! hope that u guys wuld be reading this. its already the month of march. so, stop dreaming n work hard! ask for sectionals with ur seniors if u need em'. we [the current saxophone section] need u to improve. my target for u all is to be at fadlhi's standard by the month of june. then hopefully, u r able to join main band. so far, i've r'cvd good comments about atiQah. well done! bout afiq, since u just entered this section, have the desire to learn to push forward. to both of u, dun treat us like strangers. we're like one big happy saxy family.. so dun hafta be shy.. mix around with us like as if u've known us for years..

woah! i think i'm gonna stop here man. tiredness is taking over my whole body ryte now.
before i end this "speech".. jus wanna say that..
i love you guys so so so much!
there's nothing in this world could replace the love i have towards u guys!
rmb.. thick n thin, we go thru this together... hey.. sounds familiar.. aniway.. so, to the seniors, in this midst of preparation for SYF, please oh please do not neglect ur sec1s. give them sth to learn each week. n for the seniors, keep working towards SYF.. i have faith in u guys.. i know u guys can really make it.. hmm .. GOLD for SYF this year? we shall see.. argh! ending it here.. i wanna sleep..

updating

i'm here to update after so long.haha

the camp was tough but at least we improved after every camp according to lionel! it's one more month left to SYF! we've got to memorise scores!

in about one month time. we're really left alone to keep the section standard up! so sec 3 batch work hard! that includes fadhli too cause you're the only sec 2=]

IMPORTANT!

cherish every combine wid mr lim. take note of wat he say bout how we should play and stuff
cherish time wid lionel. we must not disappoint him! try to get serious fast after joking.
cherish time wid khairul when he's here to take sectionals
always help idham wid carrying of score books stands!=]
memories scores!
start preparing for SYF
don't fall sick!
take every performance chances like SYF. e.g exchanges and stuffs=]
spend more time wid sec 1. make them feel loved by the section!=]
